Dog walking worked out
Needed a dog walker for my golden retriever for a few days. Found someone pretty quick. The walker was great, sent me pictures each time. Took about 5 days from searching to the first walk happening. My dog seemed to like them, which is the main thing. I'd use them again.
Day care was okay
I used Rover for doggy day care for my puppy, a beagle mix. The app was pretty easy to navigate to find sitters in my area. I ended up choosing one with good reviews who specialized in puppies. Communication with the sitter before the booking was good; we did a meet-and-greet, and she seemed knowledgeable about puppy care and training. The day care itself went fine, my pup came home tired and happy. My only qualm was that the advertised 'puppy social hours' weren't as structured as I thought they'd be, more just general play with other dogs. Still, it worked for my needs, and the drop-off and pick-up were smooth.
